ScanPro AI ("the App") is published by IPSTSO. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use the App. The short version: your documents stay on your device, and we collect nothing.
None. The App has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no tracking of any kind. We operate no servers for the App and receive no data from it.
Scans, photos, PDFs, OCR text, signatures and receipts are stored only in the App's private storage on your device and, if you enable it, in your device backups (iCloud/iTunes backups are controlled by you and encrypted by Apple). Documents leave the device only when you explicitly share or export them.
Premium AI features (summaries, contract explanations, document identification, data extraction, translation) are optional and require your own Anthropic API key, which you enter in Settings. When you run an AI action, the text of that document is sent directly from your device to Anthropic's API (api.anthropic.com) using your key — no intermediary server of ours is involved. Anthropic processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy (see anthropic.com/legal). Your API key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is never transmitted anywhere except to Anthropic as authentication.
The App requests camera access to scan documents, photo library access to import or save images, and Contacts access only to save business cards you scanned, when you tap "Save to Contacts". These permissions are used solely for the stated purpose, entirely on device.
Premium is sold through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; we do not see your payment details.
Locking documents uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave of your device and is not accessible to the App.
The App is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
